Craft and Sprout Coops is located in Connecticut which makes it very central to New England.  We are lucky here as we get to experience all 4 seasons.  That is how we build our coops so they can withstand heat, cold, rain, snow.  We are a husband and wife small business and have 4 boys that keep us busy, along with 9 chickens, 2 dogs and 2 cats.  Everything is built with love starting with our company name, Craft- because our coops are hand crafted and Sprout- because we have 4 boys, our "sprouts", and they are what keep us going.  

Our philosophy is to build the ultimate chicken coops using only the best sustainable materials, while supporting the American economy, supply chains and the environment. Whether you are raising chickens on a farm or in your backyard, our coops are as close to maintenance free as you can get. Just feed them, love them and they will reward you and pay their rent with eggs.
